Drama Chat The Slow Burn » Dramabeans Korean Drama Recaps
A passing fisherman picks up the envelope when Ki-tae drops it, and says he knows the man who wrote it, and that he was heading to Seoul today to close his chicken restaurant. They find the little pond where Dad’s been spending his days fishing, but he’s not there. Ki-tae notices Jang-mi looks pale and she runs to throw up, but thankfully it’s only from eating so much on a nervous stomach (and possibly also because Ki-tae just grabbed her and scared the crap out of her). Jang-mi asks why Ki-tae went to see her mom in the first place, and he says he was jealous that she was getting so much affection from his mother and he wanted the same from her mom.
Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce) 2 (
And I hate emotional scenes in general. Anyway, I will miss these characters and this drama. They were quite captivating and I think they’ll prove to be quite memorable as well.
Who would let this woman operate on them? She actually needs to go to a psych ward. It’s the only ending for her that will satisfy me. That or if she decides to drop off the grid and go explore the https://legitdatingsites.com/ world to find her true self, be one with nature, yaddah yaddah (turn the crazy bitch into a feather-in-the-wind, puka-shell-wearing hippie!)…. But since those things won’t happen then nop!
Let’s get started
He draws himself a bath and Jang-mi runs in to hug him, and his arms wrap around her before he realizes he’s holding empty air. That night he can’t sleep, and decides that the house is uncomfortable. Ki-tae just laughs scornfully, and says that things were good when there was distance between them. Se-ah says she has feelings too but Ki-tae counters that she can’t just do whatever she wants. Se-ah finally breaks and cries that she told his mother because no matter what she did, all he thinks about is Jang-mi. Ki-tae whispers that he never wants to see her again, so she leaves, humiliated.
Hotel Del Luna Breakout Lee Do Hyun Offered Male Lead in PD Lee Eun Bok’s Next Drama Sweet Home
Seo Hyun Woo gosh I want to see more of him in dramas. I’ve also always loved Jang Hee Jin but she’s matured quite a lot in this drama which I love. I kinda wish they got more cute times in the last episode but I will also take a reunion in a romcom thanks. Heck, they should just recast the main four in a romcom so they can all be happy for a change, they deserve it after the emotional rollercoaster that was FOE. And yay for a show that uses more than the main leads in an effective way. I still wouldn’t say all characters were likable or well-developed and used as in my other favorite show of the season, High School King of Savvy.
Mom says things are exactly how they should be. Mi-jung notices Ki-tae’s dad deep in thought, and he says he’s wondering whether rumors have spread about the department store brawl. Jang-mi arrives at home to find the house in a shambles and her parents screaming at each other over who gets the house and chicken shop. Finally Mom says she’ll just get it out of Dad in alimony, and takes her suitcase and leaves. Jang-mi pleads with Dad to stop her, but he says he’ll be staying at the restaurant and also goes.
Stocking stuffers for the drama addict [Year in Review, Part 2]
KT, step out of your comfort zone and grab the nice and real Jang Min before she gets away. Looking forward to the next episode. HD has come for his car so we know he might do a little cockblocking for KT even though crazy cakes Se Ah is still here. Jang Mi’s mom is such an easily swayed character that (even though she really should wash her hands of these people), she can easily be convinced to keep the wedding on. It looks like Jang Mi is a little jealous from the way she watches Ki Tae and Se Ah interact and then urges Yeo Reum to do romantic stuff with her, too. And even though it looks like Jang Mi and Yeo Reum might kiss again, it kinda looks likes she’s hesitating so she might pull away or they get interrupted.
Maybe just go back to keeping your mouth shut… or you know, not being a cheating bastard works too. Jang-mi runs out on Dad mid-sentence, just before Ki-tae shows up looking for her. Dad can tell something is off and asks if they fought, and tells Ki-tae that her mom was heading to his house with a gift. There’s no more hiding now that everyone knows the engagement was a sham – but rather than putting the issue to rest, the revelation only kicks off more hurt and misunderstandings than it solves. The fallout is so much worse than Jang-mi and Ki-tae feared, and they don’t even have each other to lean on this time. Looks like some more teamwork may be required to patch up their broken families, and more importantly, their own hearts.
They both understood that the other’s family was part and parcel of who they are, and they each reached out to help the other’s family become healthy (even if that meant one couple splitting up). I adore how the families are still, and will always be, dysfunctional, because really aren’t all families in some way? But they learned how to love and accept one another in spite of that, and maybe even because of that. Absolved of guilt, Ki-tae asks what Jang-mi is hiding, and she tells him she only paid Yeo-reum for his part of the bar since he’s leaving.
Also Hari’s feelings for Taemu seem to come out of nowhere. Prior to getting together we only had a few scenes where we see Hari find Taemu attractive. But that’s more like lusting over someone rather than thinking they’re attractive. I was rooting for them for the first half of the show but when Hari finally confessed her feelings, I didn’t feel any excitement whatsoever. I also kind of hate how they changed Taemu’s entire character once he fell in love.
Will he be miserable his entire life? Is their kid going to have (a lot of) childhood issues while growing up? Onto the show..I love how everything played out..jangmi and YR falling out like that was perfect because if the ruse wasn’t caught then we would have to endure more of YR and JM together.. Rape is sexual intercourse without consent. It need not involve brutal physical force, and to acknowledge this does not in any way diminish the terrible experiences of people whose rapes involved violence and physical coercion. But to imply that if the victim doesn’t have bruises or broken bones or a smashed face then it’s not REALLY rape…
